About Me
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Computing
at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), under the
supervision of Prof. Ken Yiu. I completed my M.S.
degree in Electronic and Information Engineering at PolyU in 2023. Prior to this, I obtained dual bachelor’s
degrees from the Adelaide University, majoring in Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, graduating with Second Upper Class Honours (H2A) in July 2021. I also had the
opportunity to visit the University of Reading in 2018.
I previously worked for China Telecom as a Backend Developer and Government-Enterprise Solutions Architect
under Talent Scheme (优才计划). I also had the opportunity to intern at Huawei and Insta360, where I contributed to the application of the
IEEE 1588 V2 protocol and speech enhancement algorithms, respectively.
My research interests lie in databases, with a particular focus on data visualization and query optimization.
